Industry News – Alexander Popov Visits Omega Boutique in Zurich

Swimming World Champion Alexander Popov took time out yesterday to greet his
fans at the Omega Boutique on Zurich’s Bahnhofstrasse. 

A considerable crowd gathered outside the Omega Boutique to catch a glimpse of
Mr. Popov and wait for an autograph before he gave interviews to the local
press. 

Mr. Popov proudly showed off his 3 gold medals (50 meters and 100 meters
freestyle, and 4×100 meters freestyle) and 1 silver medal (4×100 meters medley)
from last week’s 2004 World Swimming Championships in Barcelona, Spain.

Omega wishes its ambassador Alexander Popov all the best with his continuing
preparations for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.
