New Model – Tissot Silen-T Alarm Watch
Baselworld 2003 saw the world premiere of Tissot’s newest technological revolution: a watch that indicates the time by means of silent vibration. Just press on the crown and touch the tactile glass to set or “read” the time in a highly original fashion, or to activate and control the silent alarm.
This technology, specially developed for those with poor eyesight, is also greatly appreciated by those who need to be able to tell the time without looking at their watch.
Movement is a Swiss ETA quartz with hours, minutes, and silent alarm. The case is in steel with a bezel decorated with embossed hour markers.
It has a scratch-resistant, antiglare “tactile” sapphire crystal. The dial is available in black, white or silver. The watch comes with either a leather strap or steel bracelet.
