Breitling’s New Navitimer – A Return to Old Traditions
Here’s Breitling’s latest interpretation of its classic Navitimer chronograph.
Using the more familiar layout of 3,6,9 for the sub-dials (tri-compax layout in the vernacular), this model is equipped with the Caliber 23, that at 25 jewels, is most probably a Valjoux 7750 derivative rather than a modular movement. I’ve placed a call to Breitling, and let’s see what they answer.
Many dial and case material configurations exist for it, and unlike the Navitimer Heritage, one can use various straps. Case size is 41.8mm X 14.6mm, with a 22mm lug interhorn.
