Exceptional record-breaking pieces!
An outstanding SFr 25,531,891 ($19,489,993), 128% of the estimation, was achieved from 580 lots. Typically, the Antiquorum sales room was awash with activity with bidding from the auction room floor, telephone bids, internet bids and written bids arriving fast and furiously from all around the world in a frenzied effort to top the last bid and win one of the Exceptional Horological Works of Art offered at this Antiquorum weekend sale.

Museums were well represented with both the Breguet and the Vacheron Constantin Museums battling it out against several private museums and private collectors. Breguets were much sought after by collectors and both Patek Philippe and Rolex pieces continued to make an impact in the sales room, while Vacheron Constantin firmly established itself as the rising star in the watch collecting world, with Vacheron Constantin watches breaking many world records.

	Lot 134 Vacheron Constantin, Genève, made in 1914, sold for SFr 1,103,500 ($ 842,366), making it the second most expensive Vacheron Constantin.
