In this series the bird disappears and reappears under the left and right cups as the magician lifts them.

This is the model for a much larger piece of work made a few years ago.

The eyes are made of blown glass and the eyelids from leather allowing the “writer” to look side to side and close his eyes as he writes.

It ain’t over till the fat lady swims!

Pay careful attention to the window reflection,  there’s someone watching…
