New Model – Chopard L.U.C. Tourbillon L4T

Chopard latest addition to the L.U.C. collection is this Tourbillon model with a mechanical hand-wound movement with four barrels (L.U.C Quattro technology) that ensures a power-reserve of 9 days.

Adjustment of daily rating is ensured by the rotation of small inertia-blocks on a “Variner” type balance, for which a patent is pending. The “one minute” tourbillon at 6 o’clock carries a blued steel seconds hand while the power-reserve is indicated over the arc of a circle positioned at 12 o’clock.

The watch comes in two limited numbered series: 100 in 18kt rose gold and 100 in platinum.

Movement is the L.U.C. Caliber 1.02 with Tourbillon and COSC chronometer certification. Branded with the “Poinçon de Genève”. Functions are hours, minutes, seconds, and a power-reserve of 9 days.

The case is in platinum or rose gold, with sapphire crystals front and back. The dial is available in 18kt gold (silvered) or in black gold. The hands are also 18kt gold.
