New from Basel 2003 – ETA Mechanical Calibers
Baselworld 2003 is more than just watches, it is also all ancillary products, and most importantly, what powers them.
ETA 7754 (Note, Valjoux is no longer used officially to designate these calibers)
This new caliber features a time-zone mechanism with a 24-hour display that operates with a central hand. The time-zone can be changed by simply rotating the crown in its intermediate position. This calibre is also available as a chronometer version.
Specifications are: 25 jewels, 28,800 bph, ETACHRON index-assembly with 46 hour power reserve. The diameter is 30mm X 8mm.

This Big Date Automatic has an instantaneous date jump that can be set for midnight and has a disc-locking mechanism that prevents any movement in the event of a knock. The big date window at 3 o’clock leaves room for the brands to place their initials at 12 o’clock.
