Industry News – Montblanc at SIHH 2003
Montblanc, present at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) since 1997, has become one of the established and successful brands on the watch market.
Among its new watch collections for 2003 is the “TimeWalker” line inspired by architectonic design.
The line has a curved sapphire crystal with AR coating. The case measures 42mm in diameter and it comes with either black or silver dials, with small seconds and big date display. It has an automatic winding movement and is manufactured in Le Locle at Montblanc’s new factory.
The Montblanc “TimeWalker” Collection is scheduled to be launched in September 2003.
Also shown at SIHH was the new Sport Collection Multifunction Titanium. The “Multifunction Titanium” line has a titanium case measuring 44 mm in diameter and equipped with both an analogue and digital display showing ten different functions.
New too was the “Réveil Automatic” – with an alarm device and date display. The dial is in fine silver and is housed in a platinum coated 40mm case.
