New Model – AP Edward Piguet Chronograph Tourbillon Dynamograph

Audemars Piguet’s “Edward Piguet” line (Tradition d’Excellece collection) has a new addition.

This limited edition of 20 pieces is cased in platinum, with a chronograph, a tourbillon, power reserve display and dynamograph display.

It features an entirely new chronograph movement with centrally axial 30 minute counter and a dynamograph counter (2 o’clock position) which depicts the optimal torque. When the counter is in the upper portion of the three part field, the movement is operating under ideal conditions and can thus offer optimal rate performance.

The movement is a hand-wind in-house Caliber 2894 (NOT to be confused with the ETA of the same number, no relation whatsoever) with 37 jewels, beating at 21,600bph. Power reserve is over 70 hours. The renowned complication maker Renaud & Papi helped AP create this caliber.

MSRP is $235,000.
